explain to those who are not aware of it, Google panda update is nothing but a
filter that stops the poor quality content sites from working their way to rank
in Google top search results.
Penguin update was first
announced on April 24th 2012. Its main aim is to target sites that
do not follow Google webmaster guidelines, involve in black hat techniques like
keyword stuffing, cloaking, duplicate content and link spamming. This update was
initially named as “webspam update”. There have already been two additional
updates since the first one. One in May and other in October. Google has
indicated that the next one is on the way. Matt Cutts revealed this Friday that
next update would be named as Penguin 2.0. But there have already been two
updates, are you wondering about this? Yes you are right there have already
been 2 updates but Matt wants to degrade previous updates as penguin 1.1 and
1.2 and upcoming release is true 2.0. So, webmasters get ready for the penguin
update that’s going to hit your nose. Also get ready with the ways to recover
the next coming update. All the best.
